"When my home was hit by a tornado in May, I called the national number listed on my bill the day after to start my claim since it was a Saturday. Within 45 minutes, Mr. Pitman contacted me personally to check on me. He gave me step-by-step instructions as to what I should do - which was reassuring since I have never been through anything remotely like this. He issued me an advance check to tide me over until my claim was processed. Then, over the following weeks, he helped me with setting up my rental car and dealt with a problem that popped up concerning the return date. He repeatedly checked on the status of my car claim, fixing any issues and making multiple phone calls on my behalf. He walked me through the process of my house claim and told me what to expect. During what has been a very stressful time, Mr. Pitman and his staff have never failed to be helpful. They have dealt with every problem or issue that has popped up, and I've felt safe knowing that they have my back. They've been one of the bright spots during this disaster, and there aren't enough stars to award them for the help, reassurance, and peace of mind they have given me."

"07/03/25 In November 2024 I called the office to cancel my renter's policy. I spoke with a nice lady who put a note in the system to cancel that policy and was told the customer service dept would have to be the ones to cancel it. No big deal. A couple months later I realized the policy was never cancelled. I called the office spoke to Alex who told me he saw it had never been cancelled and that the amount that I had paid would be taken off my monthly premium and reimbursed in that way. My bill was very low for the month of June, so I knew some of the reimbursement had been taken off of the premium, but I wasn't sure if all of it had been reimbursed. I also reenrolled in the Drive Safe program within the past month or so. I called the office today to make sure my bill was correct for July. The guy I spoke with was very rude and argumentative. Telling me I should consider myself lucky they went that far back because usually they don't do that. Well, they should reimburse me because I did my part, and the customer service failed to do theirs. I was also told I need to call the office directly to make any major changes not the afterhours call service. Well, I called your office directly so DON'T ASSUME AND BLAME ME WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! Maybe learn how to read the notes in your computer system. This is the only rude encounter I have experienced with anyone at this office. I felt very disrespected and lectured by this man and have decided to switch agencies or find a different provider altogether."

The team members you spoke with were not in and you are correct our billing department made the mistake and there was no error on your part. As you pointed out, I should not have made assumptions. In hindsight I should have taken your number, researched your account notes and called you back. I will do better next time. I wish you the best and you should see a significant drop on your August bill! "

"I switched my auto and home insurance from AAA about three years ago because I wanted a local agent. That's when I turned to State Farm and JB Pitman.
